Right now my Mechro has all her gear at least at Organge level, 2 Pearl weapons and a Sereph grenade mod, plus 3 or my equiped weapons are elemental ones (1 fire, 1 shock & 1 acid). I've tried using level 50 weapons w/ a lvl 61 character on UVHM and it just makes things hard as hell. This is a game were shopping is perhaps more important than your ability to aim, lol. And also, are you using the right weapons for the various baddies? It really does make a difference, if you carry a few elementals around and experiment with each one to discover their weakness. I mean every single weapon I have is an orange level 61. It's very important that you have weapons that are the same level as you. It always amazes me when people say they find the game difficult, I really find it easy, but then I am a grade 1 shopper! If you are finding it hard going, then get to level 61 as fast as you can so you can start to stockpile decent weapons.
