I have two displays hooked up, and I've noticed that while the windows resizes on either, the video only follows the size of the window if it's on the primary display. I checked with the hardware/software manufacturer of the device. I have my power settings set to prevent disks from going to sleep. Previously, this external drive performed just fine. I might have found an OS-level bug related to it. I have this issue too with an external hard drive that is connected directly to my Mac mini, M1, running Monterey. The window resizing is unexpected, but mostly works. I prefer it to the browser since my NAS server has barely enough power for real-time transcoding.
